Andy, I was thinking the same thing, and my wife was having the same conversation with the next door neighbour earlier today!

We're also in a three story with the highest fascia fronting onto the prevailing wind, with the eco hat towards the back of the house... so you'd think the two story houses, and those with the eco hat more towards to the front, would suffer any clogging before ours, especially those made earlier, which is a large percentage of the houses?

Oh yes, and it still smells, and we've still heard nothing from Nuaire or anything further from Wimpey or Wood Newton. Maddening.

If it had clogged due to the construction work, would it not be expected that others on site would be having the same issues? I would expect the filters to need changing sooner with the building work going on, but yours is newer than a lot on site so surely the GW/ Wood newton would have know from other owners that smells occur when the filters need changing.

All very odd if you ask me.

It is still smelling as of this morning, still not so bad by any means as it was before, but it needs checking out, as does the lack of warning signal from the box.

I've also been watching the "water heating" over the hotter days we had a couple of weeks back, not impressed, but struggling to find details of what to expect from such a system. Was hoping to grill Nuaire on that at the same time as they look into the smell and lack of warning light.

I'd say the filter has clogged quickly because of the continuing construction work both to your house and the surrounding area post completion... That doesn't explain why the lights on the panel weren't operating though!!! Hopefully the smell will disipate once fresh air is running through the system.

Good Luck with the rest of the issues!
